2/11/2024 0 Comments Goodbye volcano high gameNo fast forwarding text, in fact depending on the scene occurring you'll be unable to skip at all while whatever action or individual line of dialogue the character is saying on screen. Text messages in particular don't allow you to scroll back up while texting and finishing the text messages will cause you to immediately exit regardless if on auto-text or manual. Can't view previously said dialogue for characters said or for text messages in a scene in case you'd like to listen to it again or missed something specific. Perhaps when you finish the game there is a scene select, but no option to choose from what episode or point in the episode that you've already completed You can exit back to the main menu and continuing will reset you at the start of the scene. No save feature for choices or to repeat branching sections. If there's a scene of characters walking or a background you like in particular that you want to look at, you can't view it longer than the time it takes for the next character to begin speaking There's no pause or next for individual scenes that aren't dialogue of characters talking. Setting UI elements will overlap with each other depending on resolution that you run the game Some odd clipping issues noticeable for background characters, especially if they have feathers or wings Characters will sometimes just slide across the screen, no bobbing either for their model to indicate walking either The lip syncing is off and often characters will speak over themselves if you happen to skip dialogue rather than just transitioning to the next audio line So far not pleased with the various technical issues, lack of common visual novel features, and odd decisions in regards to the available gameplay alongside choices with their effects on the characters Finished episode two as of writing this review, which is when the audition for the battle of the bands occur.
